My tip“Visit in autumn, when the smell of the sweet factories fills the air, and buy directly from the factories (such as “La Estepeña”). Climb the tower for the widest view.”
Estepa is a town on a hill known as the “Balcony of Andalusia” for its views over the plains of Seville, Córdoba and Málaga. It is famous for the polvorón and mantecado sweets made there for centuries. Above it stand the Baroque Torre de la Victoria (40 meters) and the castle ruins.
What to see

Easy to reach, needs a car
Drive up to the top of the hill, then a short walk; moderate. An hour from Seville on the A-92.
