One of my places in Santiago de Compostela

Mirador da Curota

A Pobra do Caramiñal

Dr. Abdulmajeed Al-MudarraMy tip
“Loveliest at sunset on a clear day; if the clouds are low, it is best to postpone. There is a small café.”

One of Galicia's most famous views: from a mountaintop about 500 m up, the whole Ría de Arousa is revealed, with its islands and mussel farms, and on clear days as far as Finisterre. Wild horses graze along the road.

Easy to reach, needs a car

50 minutes from Santiago; a winding uphill road, then a car park and a few minutes' walk to the view.
