A mountainous peninsula at the far north of Mallorca ending in a lighthouse from 1863 CE above towering cliffs; the road to it is one of the Mediterranean's most beautiful. On the way is Formentor beach with its pines.
Easy to reach, needs a car
A narrow winding mountain road; the walk at the lighthouse is short but exposed to the wind.
