“Buy the combined ticket with Gibralfaro; entry is free on Sunday after 2 pm, and the visit takes about an hour.”

A fortress-palace built by the Hammudids and then by Badis the Zirid in the 11th century, and completed by the Nasrids, with double walls, bent gates, courtyards with fountains and pools; it is one of the most complete surviving Andalusi alcazabas.
