My tip“The climb is very steep; the ticket costs about 2 euros and includes a museum and a film. The tourist train passes the viewpoints.”
A sheer rock above Montefrío, crowned by a Nasrid fort inside which a church was built after the fall. It is one of the most beautiful views of Andalusian villages, and it was the last Nasrid bastion on this front.
Moderate effort, needs a car
By car (few buses); the climb to the fortress is very steep through lanes and steps (10–15 minutes). The tourist train passes the viewpoints as an alternative. Services in the town.
