My tip“Book weeks ahead from the official site only, and bring your passport; the entry time to the Nasrid palaces is strict, so allow half a day, and try the night visit.”
The crown of Islamic architecture in al-Andalus: the citadel and palaces of the Nasrids (Banu al-Ahmar) from the 13th and 14th centuries, the most notable being the Comares Palace, the Hall of the Ambassadors and the Hall of the Lions built by Muhammad V. Its walls are adorned with the verses of Ibn Zamrak and the motto “There is no victor but God”.
