How to get there
Bizkaibus from Bilbao to Bakio/Bermeo (≈1 hour), then walk — by car ≈45 min
Hard going, needs a car
By car, or the seasonal Bizkaibus. Free booking is compulsory in season. From the car park, walk down about 2 km, then 241 steps to the hermitage; the climb back is tough, 1.5–2 hours round trip. Not suitable for strollers or older people. No facilities at the bottom.
