My tip“A short visit (half an hour), not a swimming day; it looks most beautiful at high tide. The water is cold and the car park is narrow, and fines are common — park only in official spaces. Combine it with Torimbia and Llanes.”
A rare geological phenomenon: a small sea beach in the middle of a green meadow, about 100 m from the sea, reached by ocean water through a tunnel under the cliffs. It is described as “the smallest beach in the world” and is listed as a natural landmark.
Easy to reach, needs a car
By car to Naves, then a 10–15 minute walk on a nearly flat dirt track between meadows (it may be muddy). No services or shade at the beach. Parking is limited and violations are frequent, so use the designated spot. A half-hour visit, and best at high tide.
