One of my places in Toledo

Museo de Cerámica Ruiz de Luna (Talavera)

Talavera de la Reina

Dr. Abdulmajeed Al-MudarraMy tip
“Combine it with the Basílica del Prado, the church covered in ceramic tiles (nicknamed the “Sistine Chapel of ceramics”), and with the Islamic wall towers, the Torreonas. The museum is closed on Mondays.”

A free museum in an old convent showing the history of Talavera pottery from the 14th to the 20th century. This pottery is on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list, and its craft grew out of the traditions of Muslim and Mudéjar potters.

Easy to reach

In the old town; by train from Madrid (an hour and a half) or an hour and a quarter by car. The museum is flat and easy; one hour.
