One of my places in Ronda

Puente Nuevo de Ronda

My pick
Dr. Abdulmajeed Al-MudarraMy tip
“Go down the steps to the lookout below the bridge for the best view; the walk is free, and it is lit at night.”

A stone bridge 98 m high, completed in 1793, linking the old Andalusi town “La Ciudad” with the modern quarter across the Tajo gorge; it is the symbol of Ronda.

Easy to reach

A train or bus from Málaga and Sevilla; the station is a 10–15 minute walk from the Puente Nuevo. The ground is level in the centre; going down to the bottom of the gorge for the bridge view takes 20–30 min, with a hard climb back. Full facilities.
