One of my places in Ronda

Minarete de San Sebastián

  • Originally a mosque (confirmed)
Dr. Abdulmajeed Al-MudarraMy tip
“It can be seen for free from the square in the old town; stop there and read the Nuniyya on the spot.”

A 14th-century Nasrid minaret that survived alone after the mosque was demolished, followed by the church that replaced it. It stands in a square named after Abu al-Baqa al-Rundi, author of the famous Nuniyya lamenting al-Andalus: “For everything, once complete, there is decline.”
