A Bourbon spring palace on the Tagus, whose best-known rooms are the “Porcelain Room” and the “Arab Room” (the smoking room), its walls carved in the style of the Hall of the Two Sisters in the Alhambra.
Easy to reach
C-3 train, then a 10-minute walk. The upper floor is reached by a large staircase (there is a lift for special cases). Level ground around it and cafés nearby. Book in advance; closed on Mondays.
