A protected area of golden sand dunes covering 400 hectares, meeting the ocean. Like a small desert beside the sea, with a coastal lagoon, a palm oasis and a lighthouse.
Moderate effort
Many buses, or a car with parking near the lighthouse or the Mirador. Walking on hot, soft sand is tiring, and the distance to the sea is 1–2 km. There is no shade and no water inside the dunes. Restaurants are at the edges.
