“The research room is in the building on Almogàvers street (Tuesday–Friday) with a researcher's card; the historic Palau del Lloctinent in the Barri Gòtic can be visited free for its exhibitions.”

One of the richest medieval archives in Europe. It holds original Arabic letters exchanged between the kings of Aragon and the Nasrids of Granada, the Marinids, the Hafsids and the Mamluks, alongside records of the Mudéjars of Valencia and Aragon; and collections of “Arabic Diplomatic Documents” were published from it.
